Photography has brought me to the most exciting event spaces - I’ve been so lucky to have seen the world through my lens each time I’m invited backstage or to a special production showing. I hope to always encapsulate the atmosphere of the event so that you’ll feel like you were just there every time you see the pictures again.

an unexpected invite

While working for the Fordham Observer, I remember receiving a last-minute request to photograph a lecture from Justice Kagan at Fordham Law. Let’s just say it was a bit of an embarrassment to be a clueless 18-year-old college student in her pajamas when I walked into a room full of law students in their best suits.

FIGhting for the best shot

One of the most chaotic places I’ve ever been to is probably NYFW. The pit of photographers at the end of the studio is a place you will never want to find yourself. Everyone is willing to fight anyone at any second just to get an inch closer to the models. Luckily, my small figure gave me the upper hand when it came to crawling into small spaces and sneaking backstage.
